The new GR Yaris is a pure high-performance vehicle born of the experience of Toyota, winner of the World Rally Championship. Shaped by competition at the highest level, it democratises motorsport design and technology - true to TOYOTA GAZOO Racing's guiding principle of constantly improving vehicles for unrivalled driving pleasure.

The flagship model of the new Yaris programme, the GR Yaris is a special vehicle resulting from all the design and assembly skills of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing and Tommi Mäkinen Racing, its WRC partner. It is an official homologation model for the development of the next Yaris WRC, while at the same time fulfilling all the conditions required for success in local rally championships.

The brakes on the GR Yaris have been designed to cope with the highest levels of stress. Featuring 356mm drilled discs at the front, combined with four-piston callipers, this system meets the stringent requirements of circuits and rally tracks in terms of resistance to overheating.
